Halloween Past and Present

It has been fun to look back on Luke's Halloween costumes and see what he was interested in at the time. Of course, he didn't care his first Halloween.

I was lucky enough to borrow Katelyn's costumes for the past two Halloweens. It has been great and free! Thank you Melissa!

That robot costume is quite possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. "Chocolate Emergency." Hee! You are so creative.

Love the robot costume! You are so creative! There is nothing you can't do. Your little lady bug is super cute also! BTW did you ever try any recipes from "deliciously deceptive"? I have been waiting for your review before we try any.

Thanks everyone! I don't want to mislead you. I wish I could claim I came up with that costume on my own, but my creativity failed me and I found one to copy on the internet. I did however make the pieces myself with the help of some dryer duct, foil tape, and duct tape. :)
Erica,
I have not tried any recipes yet. I just haven't been very motivated to start pureeing away. I have read a couple of other blogs that have tried some of them and they were impressed with the outcome. I did hear that the brownies are good but not the best ever! Hopefully someday I will try them.

You never cease to amaze me! I couldn't make that cute of a costume even if I had the internet directions. And that you thought of it instead of going to the store & buying a store bought. That was way cuter!! And Katelyn is an adorable little bug!

I LOVE the homemade robot costume. Homemade costumes are still the best. Your kids are so cute. and I'm seriously put to shame by your diligent chronicling of these things. I have no pictures of Jules in last year's Halloween costume... or her blessing dress. Whoops.

Cute pics, but I think it's time you add more story Jess... we want to "know" more about your life... it makes it easier to gossip!
